Photos processed on our FastAPI servers are encrypted in transit and permanently deleted from our storage folders within 15 minutes of download. No data is stored long term, sold, or shared with third parties.

- Technical Device Data: Simple metadata from your browser, such as aspect ratio capability or file types, required to execute the browser Canvas editor APIs.
- Standard Server Logs: Unidentified technical server requests (e.g. page load timestamps or HTTP status codes) standard to normal web server operation.

Our technical processing pipeline has been carefully configured to ensure maximum privacy:
A Local Sandbox Check
File selection, initial cropping boundaries, and basic format checks execute strictly within your local browser context using HTML5 Canvas sandboxes.
B Encrypted Remote API Call
When clicking "Auto-Crop & Verify" or uploading to the Eligibility Checker, raw images are securely transferred to our self-hosted VPS backend over encrypted SSL (HTTPS) paths.
4. 15-Minute Deletion Policy
We have implemented an automated file cleanup mechanism on our web servers to guarantee user data safety:
Every file proxied and cached under our uploads folder has a strict maximum lifecycle of exactly 900 seconds (15 minutes). The moment our gateway process handles a transaction, a recursive background routine automatically flags and permanently deletes all related user assets older than 15 minutes.
Additionally, if you run the eligibility checker on `/dv-photo-checker/`, the file is parsed dynamically in-memory and never cached or saved to the server disk under any directory whatsoever.
5. Security Standards
We apply strict technical measures to defend against unauthorized file access, leakages, or cyber threats:
- All incoming traffic is forced over absolute HTTPS encryption protocol.
- Directory indexing is strictly disabled to prevent remote directory scraping.
- Images are anonymized and saved under randomized cryptographic hashes to prevent enumeration attacks.
