1. Who we are

DV Lottery Photo Checker (we, us, our) is a tool, which aids its users to create DV Lottery and passport-sized photographs.

2. What this policy covers

This policy describes the nature of information that we obtain, use, and retain, and your options. It applies to:

• Our mobile application(s) and Web sites, such as dvlotteryphototool.com, dvlotteryphotochecker.com and other sub pages.
• We do not store your data at the server side of the image processing we do to create your DV/passport photos, which is deleted automatically.

3. The data we process

A) Photos you upload

How: Uploading a photo (either camera or gallery) to our server is done to process it (ex. remove backgrounds, resize, and crop).

Why: To produce a DV/ passport ready product and send it to you.

Retention: We have an automated system to delete uploaded and processed images on our server, most likely after an hour of processing has been done to them. This will comprise temporary working files and caches related to the processing task. We do not save up your photos permanently, train AI with them or sell them.

Storage: You will not keep your photos stored with us forever. We do not create your profiles, facial recognition, or AI models, not based on your photos. We do not sell your photos.

On your device: When you save the outcome to your device it is still on your device controlled by you. It is up to you to delete it out of your device.

4. App/device permissions (on your device)

Based on the usage of the app, we request:

• Camera: take a new photo in order to process it.
• Photos / Media/ Library: select an already existing photo and also, save the processed version to your device, optional. We only get what is required to render these features.

5. Fee (Google AdMob & Adsense)

We monetize the mobile application through the use of Google AdMob, which places advertisements on the application, which can gather device identifiers, coarse location, among other data to offer and tailor advertisements, and to gauge performance. AdMob has not been implemented in the first version of this application, but in the new update, we will implement AdMob to cover costs of servers and development. Note, we have applied the use of advertisements at the site through Google adsense.

6. What we don't do

• We do not save your photos permanently in our server; they are automatically deleted in a span of one hour of processing.
• We do not market your personal information.
• We never make use of your photos to train AI models or any other use other than providing you with the processed product.

7. How we use your information

• And to gain your uploaded photo, manipulate it on our computer, and send the resulting DV/passport photo to your device.
• To provide and enhance the functionality, reliability, and security of the apps.
• To display advertisements (through Google AdMob) to cover development and server expenses.
• To meet the related laws and enforce our terms.

8. Legal grounds (in case you are in the EEA/UK)

• Contract performance: of the photo that you have ordered.
• Legitimate interests: operating, securing and enhancing the app and service; displaying unobtrusive advertisements to help fund the service.
• Consent: in some cases where the local law needs consent to do some personalisation of ad or permission to devices (e.g. camera, photo library).

9. Data retention

• Photos: Automatically removed off our servers in the range of one hour after processing is done. When a processing job fails, cleanup does not run, however, similar files are deleted in the same time window with approximately the same time efficiency.
• Ads information: Google AdMob controls this data under Google policies and your device/Google account advertisements.
• Very little technical logs (possibly none): stored only to the extent needed to maintain security, troubleshooting, and compliance; your image is not stored in logs.

10. Data sharing

• Service providers: We do not disclose data to providers other than those required to operate the service (e.g. hosting, content delivery, error monitoring, AdMob). They are subject to keeping your information safe and not to use it to deliver services to us.
• Legal: We can share information when it is mandated by law or in order to safeguard the rights, safety, and security.

11. Security

We apply reasonable technical and security measures to secure your data at the upload, processing and delivery. There is no really secure system but we reduce risk and restrict retention to the extent of automatically deleting images soon after processing.

12. Your choices and rights

• Authors: You are able to turn off/on camera and photo library permissions in your device settings.
• Ads: Control the personalization of the ads on your gadget/ Google settings and Google Ad Settings. Nevertheless, no ads have been utilized in the first version of the app.
• Rights to data: Here, based on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. Due to the timely deletion of processed photos and the absence of user accounts, we might have few data to search. 13. Children's privacy

Our application does not target children below 13. We do not collect any personal information of children in a knowing way. In case a child has left personal information with us, then call us and we will remove it.

14. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy can be revised by us. The revised version will be available on privacy with a new date of effectiveness.
